This 1912 scene is similar to that on a picture-postcard dated 9/27/1909. Inscription on the back of the postcard: "Selma: A closer view of the annual class clash between the freshman and sophomor classes, which took the form this year of a push-ball game in five relays--fifty on each side being in each relay. The hazing of freshmen is supposed to cease after this contest and all are supposed to get to earnest work. Herb"
